Maureen Bertram is the proud owner of Little Treasures, a centre dedicated to supporting children with special needs. A Professional Accountant (CPA/CMA) by training, Maureen began her career in Montreal and built a highly successful path across various industries in the financial sector.
Despite her professional achievements, Maureen always felt a strong pull toward working with young children—her “little treasures.” In 2015, she turned that long-held passion into a reality by acquiring a daycare business in Markham. The centre happened to include three children with special needs, an experience that profoundly shifted her focus.
Over time, Maureen discovered that her greatest fulfillment came from working with children who required additional support. In November 2016, she made the bold decision to close the regular daycare program and dedicate Little Treasures entirely to therapy services for children with special needs.
With the support of behavioural science professionals, Maureen has steadily grown Little Treasures into a specialized therapy centre. She is deeply committed to the belief that, with the right guidance and care, every child has the potential to thrive.
