Parent Support Groups create the opportunity for parent(s)/guardian(s) to discuss any issues, concerns or challenges, provide support and ideas, and share resources and experiences with other parents. We can learn a lot from each other and how we have developed strategies for our children. We provide a positive, supportive group environment to share experiences and learn from one another. Our groups are relaxed, positive and helpful. We also encourage family members of our students to participate in our many support groups and workshops. Connect with us to find out when the next Parent Support Group is taking place.

A day program can offer several key benefits for a school-age child on the autism spectrum, including:
1: Structured Environment: Many children on the spectrum thrive with routine and predictability. A day program provides a consistent schedule, helping reduce anxiety and improve focus.
2: Social Skills Development: Day programs often provide opportunities for social interaction in a supportive environment. Children can work on communication, play, and relationship-building with peers and trained staff.
3:Tailored Support: These programs are designed to meet the unique needs of children with autism. This can include individualized attention, therapies (like speech or occupational therapy), and specialized educational activities.
4: Skill Building: Children in day programs often engage in activities that promote cognitive, behavioral, and life skills development, helping them build confidence and independence.
5: Emotional and Behavioral Regulation: With trained staff, day programs can help children manage emotional challenges and develop coping strategies for anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or other difficulties they may face.
6: Parental Support: A day program can provide parents with a break or time to focus on other responsibilities, knowing their child is in a safe, supportive, and enriching environment.
These programs help children develop at their own pace while receiving the specialized support they need. ... See MoreSee Less
