Dianna is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®). She holds a Masters degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has a BA (Hons) in Psychology from York University. Dianna is currently working at the Durham District School Board as a Psychometrist and is pursuing registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Dianna has worked in both government funded and private practice settings and her consultation experience includes a wide variety of settings, including home and centre based ABA programs, and schools. In addition, Dianna has led numerous ABA, ASD, ADHD, and Behaviour Management Systems Training, and workshops for ABA staff, teachers, and administrators. Dianna was also a part-time professor at Seneca College in the Autism and Behavioural Science program.
Dianna has a wealth of experience in assessment and intervention with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disabilities, Language Disorders, anxiety disorders, and various other academic, social, emotional, and behavioural issues since 2001. She also has extensive experience conducting functional behavioural assessments, cognitive, academic, psychoeducational and socio-emotional assessments. In addition, she is experienced in developing Behavioural Intervention Plans, training staff, supervising programming to address a variety of skills, including school readiness, receptive and expressive language, self-help, and social skills.
